Gary and Mindy opened their first store in Auburn, GA in April of 2000 and purchased their second store in Monroe, GA in June of 2001. Gary was a production manager in the residential and commercial glass field for 13 years before deciding to come on board at Papa's Pizza To-Go Mindy was working as a preschool teacher before they began. The Browns’ have three children (a girl and two boys).
They chose this franchise because of the great menu items, the low startup costs and the great support from the corporate office. Tim worked for a printing company for 15 years and Beverly was a cosmetologist and then worked in the medical field for several years. After deciding that they wanted their own business, Tim found out about Papa’s Pizza To-Go on the Internet and in Pizza Today Magazine. After visiting a store and meeting with the corporate office, they decided to purchase a franchise. Tim and Beverly visited several Papa’s Pizza To-Go locations to help them decide what kind of store they wanted. They opened Corryton,TN in April 2001 and Maynardville,TN in November of 2002.
"We have had lots of support from this franchise and we are very happy to be working with this great group of people," states Tim. Tim and Beverly work closely with the local schools and churches in their communities. "It is very rewarding to be able to give back to our community," Beverly explains, "We are proud to be a part of this wonderful franchise. If we ever need anything at all, the corporate office will always be there to help in some way."
